The name of this shop "Antipodean" is a word described as something Australian or New Zealand.

 

At a buzzling town in Bangsar, this Aussie homestyle cafe is a place you can look forward to explore and chill. Who says you need to fly to Melbourne or Sydney to enjoy? Bangsarians have already cottoned on this outlet as their weekend must have's.

A good breakfast has to always come with a good coffee, that is what i personally always look for especially using their own blended house beans. All the Coffee selections you can name it.

You wont get any hands on menu, as all the menus are hanging on the walls using large blackboards  scribbled in chalks, kinda old school feeling and creative as they get to save on printed menus and get to change from time to time. The only thing is you need to turn your heads to look at the menu. Please make sure u dont break your neck.

For the first timers, do arrive early to secure your sits as space is limited especially weekend breakfast however is definately worth the wait and you will be served shortly due to the fast and promt serving. It is a baby friendly place as well with nicely baby chairs upon request and a small area for kids playing room.


Antipodean Café was shortlisted in the Best Coffee category of the Time Out KL Food Awards 2011 and 2012. It was also shortlisted Best New Restaurant in 2011.
